Novice English Teachers' Working Group (IATEFL Hungary)

Some of the 40 participants’ feedback on this workshop:

I found the following very useful:

• I’ve finally found a community where I can learn a lot about teaching
• information about supportive organisations for English teachers
• Actually all of it was very useful!
• presentations about IATEFL Hungary
• presentations by teachers and students – it was really interesting to hear about their work experience
• the enthusiastic members
• the fun “getting to know each other” games
• doing the posters concerning the novice teachers’ SIG
• the information about the associations for English teachers at ELTE
• meeting young teachers and trainees
• seeing the community of Diákműhely
• establishing groups always adds to the value of a chosen profession
• upcoming events
• sharing

I found the following very surprising:

• There were so many of us there!
• I enjoyed every minute of it!
• I didn’t know about all the good work the ‘Szakmódszertani Student Group’ is doing
• that the people who keep IATEFL Hungary working and build the community are volunteers
• some of my mates are already members of IATEFL-H
• All people were friendly.
• So many students came.
