OUR VISION: We would like to set up a creative and professional community where we (i.e. novice teachers of English) can share and discuss our ideas and problems. We will also have lots of fun to help teachers become more optimistic.
OUR MOTTO: You can be a professional even if you are a beginner.
OUR AIMS:
- to help each other by sharing teaching ideas
- to help novice teachers gain more teaching experience
- to motivate and support novice teachers of English
- to provide information about scholarships and training opportunities especially for novice teachers of English
- to provide members with emotional support in the early stages of teaching
- to have fun together
- to help members improve their level of English
- to pool teaching resources
WHY IT’S WORTH JOINING US:
- You won’t be isolated as a novice teacher of English. You’ll belong to a supportive and professional community.
- You can improve your teaching while having fun with your peers and colleagues.
The Novice English Teachers’ Working Group is IATEFL Hungary’s SIG-to-be. It was started by Norbert Gálik (IATEFL Hungary committee member, English teacher and teacher educator – MA ELTE, MEd Exeter).
